The property is on 70 acres of cliffs overlooking the Hudson River and has many enjoyable features including a 120 foot waterfall down to the Hudson River, stunning guest rooms, and interesting animals such as peacocks, llamas and chickens (which produce fresh eggs daily for guests).

The Inn also has an extensive garden used to grow many of the ingredients and some of the food used in its meals. Buttermilk Falls is a relaxing getaway in the Hudson Valley.
