The Woodstock Film Festival is seeking a producer for its annual Maverick Awards Ceremony. The producer will be responsible for organizing all aspects of the ceremony as well as oversseing the stage management of the event. The right candidate must be extremely well organized with great communication skills and they must be able to work well under pressure.
*This is a seasonal staff position from September through the festival.

Box Office Manager

The ideal candidate is LOCAL and has Experience in Customer Service, is calm under pressure, sociable, kind, able to multi-task and able to work long hours, when needed during the festival. Must be able to work with several wonderful volunteers who have work box office for over ten years. The job requires proficiency with both PC and Mac computer. Knowledge (or ability to quickly pickup) Filemaker, Excel, Google Spreadsheets, is important.

Director of Development's Assistant
This person must be positive, outgoing and extremely thorough. Dreamweaver and/or HTML, Photoshop and Indesign, excellent computer skills and telephone skills are required. Previous office experience and FileMaker Pro experience a plus. The position requires strong technical skills and ability to learn quickly, follow-through, attention to detail, thoroughness, and the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Executive Director's Assistant
This person must be positive, outgoing and extremely thorough. Excellent computer skills, organizational skills, good writing and telephone skills are required. Previous office experience and FileMaker Pro experience is a plus. The position requires initiative, follow-through, attention to detail, thoroughness, strong work ethic, confidentiality and the ability to prioritize and multitask. Transportation is also required.

Food Services
The Food Services Coordinator works closely with the Operations Department and needs to be available a few days prior to the festival in order to procure supplies and organize proper storage. Coordinator will oversee distribution of snacks/meals/beverages at Hospitality and for staff scattered throughout the venues.

Guest Relations Assistant
The Guest Relations Assistant is a volunteer position responsible for assisting filmmakers in checking in at Hospitality during the Festival, resolving guest issues and and make sure that all filmmakers and VIP understand their daily schedules. Guest Relations persolnel need to have an intimate knowledge of all the locations of festival venues as well as the schedule of events. Candidates should be extremely personable, have quick problem solving ability and work well in team and individual environments.
*This is a seasonal volunteer position from mid-September through one week after the festival.

Operations Manager
Manager assists the Operations Director with facilitating needs of all departments in the festival, assists in managing permits, correspondence with police/security and venue owners. Operations manager must have a real can-do attitude with go-getter enthusiasm. High energy is needed, flexibility, and resourcefulness are a must and strong organizational skills are required.
*This is a seasonal staff position from mid-September through one week after the festival.

Photography Assistants/Interns
Photography Assistants will be responsible for collecting photos from WFF photographers and uploading them to either the WFF website with proper captions. They will also make sure that the press department has photos to share on social media. Photography Assistants must be technologically proficient and experienced with MAC, have strong experience with Photoshop and/or Aperture as well as social media. Intern credit can be given for the right student.

Press Director

The WFF Press Director is responsible for writing or overseeing the writing of all press releases, blogs, facebook and other social media updates. The Press Director works to gain local, regional and national coverage for festival-related stories. Leading up to and during the actual fall festival, the press department schedules all interviews with media outlets (with festival staff and festival participants), and handles all credentials, media handling and photo ops. Press Director oversees several assistants and works directly with marketing team, administrative and executive directors to not only facilitate news disbursement but pitches to specific regional and national outlets.

Skills: Candidates must be very comfortable working and learning new technology, social media and must have their own computer, preferably a mac, equipped with Microsoft Office. HTML or Dreamweaver knowledge is HIGHLY recommended.

Requirements: Candidate must have a bachelors in Public Relations or equal and should ideally have 3-5 years experience in the field. (Experience with the genres of Arts/Film/Events a PLUS!)

Press Deputy

The Deputy Press Director will work under the direction of the Press Director and will be responsible for writing press releases, blogs and social media updates concentrating on viral media.

Skills: Candidates must be skilled working with new technology, social media and must have their own computer, preferably a mac, equipped with Microsoft Office. HTML or Dreamweaver knowledge is HIGHLY recommended, but not required.

Requirements: Candidate must have a bachelors in Public Relations or equal and should ideally have 2-3 years experience in the field. (Experience the genres of Arts/Film/Events a PLUS!)

Press Assistants/Interns

Press Assistants will work under the guidance of both the Press Director and Deputy Director, writing press releases and social media updates as necessary. Assistants will also be asked to be heavily involved in viral marketing campaigns.

This is a perfect opportunity for new graduates in a public relations or media field.

Print Trafficker
The print trafficker is the primary liason between filmmakers and the festival regarding all technical needs. This position requires closely working with the filmmaker to arrange for media delivery in a time fashion. The print trafficker must also schedule, deliver and return film prints from each venue; contact distribution companies, studios, and filmmakers for information; and properly send out all films at the close of the showcase.

Production Department
Volunteer crew members should be able to assist with (1) the buildout of venues (pipe, drape, chairs, stages, carpet) and (2) work with the art department to dress and maintain venues and on event site design.

Technical
Crew is needed to work with crew chiefs to install and run audio and video equipment during the showcase. The Technical Director also needs a technical assistant to schedule the crew and ensure that the correct equipment is in place.

Transportation Captain
The Transportation Captain handles the coordination of deliveries, pre-and post-festival pickups, vehicle rentals for festival fleet and for vip guests, flight, train and bus tickets and schedules for VIP guess, manages shuttles prior to and during the festival, especially to and from festival parties. Transpo Captain is responsible for several drivers and their schedules. Must be organized with strong communications skills and the ability to be extremely flexible during the festival.

Transportation Crew
Drivers must be 25 years of age or older, maintain excellent driving records and familiarity with the area for driving festivals guests to and from venues, airports, bus stations, hotels, parties, etc. Drivers must be discrete, polite, professional and courteous. WFF provides vehicles to transport guests. This is a volunteer position.

Venue Management
The festival needs managers and assistants for each venue to deal with tickets, load the house and handle announcements, sales, venue maintenance coordination, etc. Must be resourceful, able to think on your feet and respond well to stressful situations. Event organization experience is a bonus.

Volunteer Coordinator

The ideal candidate is LOCAL. Duties include beings responsible for helping recruit and schedule volunteers with different departments including guest relations, tech, art, admin, press and venues. The applicant needs to have excellent people, phone and computer skills. You must also be organized, focused, proactive, and available to work flexible and longer hours, when needed.
