WFF Presents OUR IDIOT BROTHER

Comedic Actor Paul Rudd is coming to Woodstock

The Woodstock Film Festival is thrilled to announce a special one-time screening of the hit comedy Our Idiot Brother courtesy of the Weinstein Company and Big Beach FIlms. The screening will take place on May 5, 2012, 3 p.m. at Upstate Films in Woodstock. The event will feature a Q&A and reception with star Paul Rudd, producer and WFF founding Advisory Board Member Peter Saraf, and Director Jesse Peretz.

Released in August of 2011 and shot in Cold Spring, NY, Our Idiot Brother tells the story of Ned, a carefree organic vegetable farmer and lover of Willie Nelson, his loyal dog, who becomes entangled in his sisters’ chaotic lives. The film stars Paul Rudd (The 40 Year-Old Virgin) as Ned and features all-star female castmates Zooey Deschanel, Elizabeth Banks and Emily Mortimer as his sisters.

The story was born out of an idea by Director Jesse Peretz (The Ex) and written by his sister Evgenia and her husband David Schisgall with Rudd in mind.

General Admission tickets for the screening and the Q&A will be $25. A select number of $50 tickets will also include a reception at Oriole 9 in Woodstock. Paul Rudd, producer Peter Saraf (of Little Miss Sunshine fame), and director Jesse Peretz will all be in attendance. CLICK HERE for ticket and reception information.
